Yes indeed. However if the plastic pakamac is on top, the nylon can also be seen. Giving the on-looker a special thrill.

I still do indeed wear my nylon Pakamac fully buttoned up, it somehow doesn’t feel right worn any other way. Hugh's idea of wearing my plastic Pakamac over it as a special treat is great, that too of course fully buttoned-up. However as my plastic Pakamac is the longer of the two, having 5 buttons to the collar as opposed to the 4 of my nylon Pakamac, it might be better to wear the nylon Pakamac over the plastic one. That way the bottom of my plastic Pakamac can still be seen, sticking out from beneath the nylon one, adding to the pleasure of wearing the two Pakamacs together in this way.

Well Mr Doudy, I hope you wear your nylon pakamac fully buttoned up, and perhaps, as a treat, your plastic mackintosh on top.

To answer maid Jenny's question I do still indeed enjoy wearing a vintage Pakamac. I have one in black opaque plastic with plastic buttons and another navy blue nylon pakamac, very plain, knee length with 4 buttons to the collar. Both are men's macs, buttoning the men's way; I admit I'd be self conscious being seen in public in what was obviously a ladies mac!

I too was one of those boys who was made to wear a plastic pakamac for any occasion other than travel too and from school, to conserve my expensive regulation school gabardine. I started at an age when, still in grey short trousers, I could enjoy the feel of the plastic brushing against my legs. In later years, up to age 18, I'd revert to short trousers at weekends and holidays to continue enjoying that feeling!

No one had any nice walks in all the rain we have been having lately. I have not seen many in leeds just the nylon type.

Yes Scooter i have just been outside wearing my bonnet underneath my plastic mac with the hood up. I had to get home as it was so exciting.

Hi, it’s the weather for wearing rain mates, I pop a plastic accordion folding one, it’s plain with the cloth ties. It’s brilliant and keeps you dry, nobody bothers. Go for it Maid Jenny.

I have since manage ged to get some rain bonnets, but not dared wear outside, maybe when i get made to lol. I often go for a mac walk around roundhay park in leeds, come say hello. I do prefer to chat on skype before real time.

I think that is where my fetish started Sir Brian with being made to wear my pakamac to school. My mum always insisted i had iyt with me folded in my pocket. She used to make fasten it up even if only looking like rain. I was not aware but my hair was kept in a girly style and one day she produced a rain mate for me as the coats had no hood. I felt so embarrased often crying and begging not be made to wear it, but she made me. I was also one of the last boys to wear wear short pants at school. I used to like the mac rubbing on my legs. Buying a new mac is so exciting and, Maid Jenny, it is lovely of you to share your joy with us. I was really lucky, earlier this year, in that I was able to secure two boy's genuine plastic Pakamacs, obviously too small to wear, but lovely to have them. They are an exciting reminder of how beautiful and sexy these macs were.
Hope you are all enjoying your macs and rainwear-they are one of the few things that are keeping us sane in these trying times.

Just like Brian I am wearing my noisy rustly nylon overall and plastic apron to do my housework. Then I am going for a walk in my traditional navy plastic (jeantex) raincoat. I also wear my portwest mac at times. pvc.u.like is also a good place for raincoats, and shiny mac.

Old friend, do try the nylon macs retailed by Stay Dry rainwear, in both navy and black, very reasonably priced. You won't be disappointed. I am just addicted to buying them, and have about 50 so far, and will, no doubt be buying more. I am, in fact wearing one at this very moment. I love going out in them too. Relaxing, comfortable, breathable, noisy, and beautifully exciting, in the best Pakamac tradition. I recommend them to all of you as the perfect antidote to the trials and tribulations of this modern society.
