What a nostalgic experience that was! I was in awe of Watson Prickard when I was a lad. I used to stare at the window displays for ages. Can you get these old adverts as posters? I would love to have them framed and put up in my house. I look forward to hearing from you.

What a wonderful advertisement for a magnificent shop, the like of which we will never see again. I remember staring in awe at their window displays when I was a lad. The captions were hand written " Fly front Crombie Boxcloth Overcoat £55 00." WP had two qualities that are virtually extinct nowadays; quality and value for money. Dunn and Co was similar. How I miss them! Would it be possible to get a copy of that poster? I would be delighted to hear from you with any advice that you can give.
